Edie Campbell didn't understand why she let her friends talk her into this stuff. She's content running her surf shop and living the quiet life in Costa Rica. There, she can keep her feelings locked away and pretend she hadn't been through war. But when Dean comes to her and asks her to help his best friend with a stalker problem, her silly brain can't say no. And she doesn't even like Jordan MacDowell. Well, that's not entirely true. Not because it's fun to watch her puff up like an angry kitten, but because he knows, despite her saying otherwise, she still hasn't fully healed from her experiences in the Army.
