Josie and the Bear

Josie Parks was a seventeen year old girl who loved all animals. She loved helping sick or injured wild animals when she was able, but she never expected to find a bear about to give birth in her own woods. It was a discovery that would change her life forever, for the cub would become one of Josie's best friends. When it became obvious that Josie had a gift with animals she was asked to work at the CAWS foundation, where she became part of a very unique search and rescue team. Janet, who worked with Josie, wanted to get her fired. She put Josie's survival skills to the test, but Josie was determined to prove herself and earn the respect of her co-workers.
