Just A Silver Thimble

Shropshire, England 1882. Seven-year-old John Frederick Jones has two close encounters with death, but his time has not yet come. From Shropshire to India, between brothel and battlefield, his story is by turns funny, sad and full of drama. On his return to England John heads north, where his dreams are briefly fulfilled before events lead to an unexpected conclusion.
