The UK has a killer in its midst but no ordinary killer. Victims are selected carefully and for a reason. Scotland Yard are alarmed and with no clues with four linked murders. Nicholas Hood is brought in. Although in his twilight years as a senior operative, this brash, arrogant and outspoken member of MI6 is probably the only man who can find the killer.
