Justified Silence

These writings bear untold accounts that cover thirty years of law enforcement. I often felt overlooked and wanted to blame others but realized later that I was limiting myself by adhering to the status quo, and not utilizing the power that was within. I found my voice and courage to speak up, show up and be, no longer feeling the need to harbor this justified silence.
