Ever since human kind developed language, it did not remain a means of mere communication, it became larger than its primary cause and evolved into a tool of expression. The highest form of that expression is poetry. Indian civilization in its entirety is poetic. 
Kaanch pe padhi boonden or Raindrops on the Glass are a collection of poems representing a select few emotions and poetic expressions from the myriad raindrops that fall on us. The struggles of middle class India and its complexities, the emotional battles that rage in and solace we draw in small things all with our flaws and frailties. All of these drops can be found in this small collection. Like a first child this collection is full of love and it is free of burden. Poetry as imbibed by a simple man and woman. Poetry as lived by masses in their struggles in relationships, love, work and class.
