Through her minimalist installations, Japanese artist Kazuko Miyamoto (born 1942) both contributes to and contravenes modernist language. This monograph gives prominence to her String Constructions from the 1970s onward, supplemented by preparatory drawings, while also highlighting her performances of the early 2000s.
