Keira's Christmas Countdown: An Autistic Girl's Adventures Through Adolescence: Book 2

Christmas is coming and 12-year-old Keira couldn't be more excited. She can't wait to enjoy all of the fun festive traditions with her two moms and make new memories during her first Christmas season in New England.

Advent calendars have long been one of Keira's special interests. This year, Keira is hoping for a running Advent calendar, since running has quickly become Keira's latest obsession ever since she started running for the middle school cross-country team in the fall.

However, in much the same way that Keira's recent autism diagnosis shook up her self-concept, this Advent season will challenge Keira to navigate changes, adjust her expectations, and look inward to learn more about herself and who she wants to be.
