King Arthur and Queen Guinevere received the Round Table as their wedding gift and King Leodegran who was Queen Guinevere's father, was the keeper of the Round Table.
The legend of the Round Table is, that although King Arthur wanted fifty knights to be seated at his table, only 28 knights could be found after searching throughout Europe and Britain, but there are only 24 places.
