Kodagu is a fragile eco- region and rapid tourism growth is noticed in this district. With expanding tourism activities; huge agricultural land are also being converted into commercial plots. There are many tourism infrastructures are coming up in the district to meet the needs of tourists and resorts are the major expanding accommodation facilities occupying large land area. During the Research mass land conversions for tourism in Kodagu was noticed and it is concerning issue in terms of the district's future. Thus, in this book we are bringing forward the same concern in a way that everyone can understand with the help of simple and clear image based analysis.
