Cal does not like to read. Living high up in the Appalachian Mountains, he'd rather help his father than sit with a book. That book woman just won't take no for an answer. She continually rides up the mountain with a ton of books. Based on a true story, this picture book shows both the impact one determined individual can make and the gift that literacy truly is.
