This book is the proceedings of a workshop entitled Effects of Sewage Sludge Quality and Soil Properties on Plant Uptake of Sludge-Applied Trace Constituents, jointly sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Cincinnati, OH, the University of California at Riverside, and The Ohio State University in Columbus. The meeting was conducted in Las Vegas, NV, November 13-15, 1985, under cooperative agreement CR-812673, and the project officer, representing the Cincinnati EPAs Wastewater Engineering Research Laboratory, was J. A. Ryan. This book has been reviewed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and, though it is approved for publication, mention of trade names or commercial products does not constitute endorsement or recommendation for use by either the EPA or by the Publisher.
