Thirteen year-old author Nathalie Du lives in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She was motivated to write Land of the Midnight Sun by a history assignment given to her by her 7th grade teacher, Mrs. Harris.

Nathalie is inspired by her mother and father's never ending determination to give her a better life. She strongly believes that no matter how old a person is, there is always a world of possibility open for them.
Nathalie is currently working on her next book.
