"Lani & K, Lead the Way" is an ode to representation, knowledge, inclusion, and growth in the youth. This book vows to teach the reader that the journey doesn't just end with gaining knowledge, instead it begins with everything you will do once you gain the knowledge. This short body of work with the help of vibrant illustrations created by the talented Paige Coffer, follows two young sisters, Lani and K, on a journey to save their community through the power of books. These sisters make this their life's work and strive to accomplish this task by any means necessary.
