L'Autre Chemin pour la Ville

A French English bilingual children's book by Mandie Davis and illustrated by Pete Williamson. Part of the Les Puces series of bilingual books.  Read it one way and it's in French, flip it over and it's in English.  This book follows the adventures of a father and his two daughters as they go into town Christmas shopping.  Faced with the very steep hill to climb, India Mouse asks if they can go the other way into town - pointing in the other direction.  Dad decides that this is possible - if they travel all around the world the other way!  On their journey they visit some unusual places and meet different people.  A story that shows that big adventures spring from little decisions!  French vocabulary for world travel and a map on the centre page spread showing the journey.  Fantastic illustrations by this renowned children's illustrator.
