Le Dedain Affect

Le Dédain Affecté est une comédie en prose en trois actes, représentée pour la première fois en 1724 par les comédiens italiens ordinaires du roi. Dans cette pièce, Monicault met en scène deux couples qui tentent de se débarrasser de la jalousie qui les ronge. Elle se déroule dans un salon parisien et offre un regard sur la société aristocratique de l'époque. Les dialogues sont fins et spirituels, et la pièce est un exemple parfait de la comédie morale du XVIIIe siècle.
