The digital revolution has fundamentally changed the way people think, communicate, work, and conduct economic and business practices. Yet the vast majority of the world lags behind as the development gap between the rich and poor increases among and within countries across the globe.

Legal Issues in the Global Information Society is the first and only book to cover the recommendations addressed at the UN World Summit on the Information Society, held in Tunis in Nov 2005.
