When Leila Johnston discovers the bleak reality of her family's life from a young age, everything comes crashing down for her. She watches her family fall apart, she loses those she treasures the most, and through it all, she's forced to be alone and fend for herself because society is no help. Leila is determined to come out stronger. She becomes wild and reckless, seeking refuge and figuring out who she is and her purpose.
