"Lewisburg, Arkansas: an anthology of articles and newspaper clippings" by Bob Crossman contains four articles on the general history of this steamboat landing on the Arkansas River, and two articles on its role in the Civil War. The editor also examined sixteen Arkansas newspapers from the 1830's to the 1870's, and reproduced hundreds of articles with a significant mention of Lewisburg or its people.
