If ever he'd taken a step back to re-evaluate, maybe Harry Jones would have noticed the little things going on in the world, like his teenage daughter's pregnancy, his wife's impending affair, his mother's ill health, and his son becoming a jobless dreamer. Instead, he engrosses himself in the next band contest, the fight against Midtown's Bandroom being demolished, fundraising for the forthcoming trip to France, and the endless quest for that "perfect sound". The difference between passion and obsession is acceptance. Like the music he loves, there are highs and lows in this particular year of Harry Jones' life as the bitter-sweet comedy unfolds. His band is enjoying more success than ever, while the Jones household is a different story. As his two children suddenly find their destinies approaching faster than either of them could have imagined, his wife also finds herself wondering if she should in fact be dancing to a different tune.
