Life Skills and Mentoring for Groups of Girls and Young Women in Public Schools

This small but powerful little book is an experience based guide on starting and maintaining a group lifeskills and mentoring activity for girls and young women in public schools. It is a tool for the school staff and the administration in understanding the value of the activity. It is an easy-to-use guide for adult volunteers who may have limited experience working in schools or leading small groups of pre-teen and teen girls/young women. The focus on the activity is to encourage the students to do their best, graduate from high school, have some fun along the way, and make good decisions. All of this has a student centered focus with the adult volunteers aiding the process.
