Light in the Darkness

Light in the Darkness was conceived during a shocking and challenging time of uncertainty-when it seemed that all of life was altered overnight. Everything we took for granted was stripped, lockdowns enforced and fear of an unseen enemy relentlessly propagated. Church doors were shut and worship gatherings suspended threatening the very strength, hope, and vitality of Christ followers everywhere. Dr. Pastor Carr was concerned for his people as he launched a "Thought for the Day" email campaign.

When life and media draw attention to everything that has or may go wrong, it is easy to lose hope. As soon as he began to encourage his people, their mailing list doubled, proving light shines brightest in the darkest times.

The main lesson in a time when change is inevitable: God never changes-He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! When we focus on the Good News of the Gospel, we realize nothing is impossible for God, we ARE able to resolutely remain in hope and discover how God wants to use us to bring restoration to our families and communities.
