The last person Lindsay Hughs wants to run into at her job as a researcher at The Lightning Center is Brian Clarkson, her first love. But the man who broke her heart was hired as the new architect to do some renovations at The Center, and as someone struck by lightning who has developed psychic powers, he has also become a subject for their studies.
