Little Durango

Inspired by an 1886 photograph titled "Arizona Female Scout" by A Frank Randall, LITTLE DURANGO, a historical novel, purports to be the "memoirs of Gabriela Falcon and a true account of the taming of the Arizona Borderlands (1869 - 1900)." Gabriela, whose nickname is Little Durango, recounts her interactions with Texas John Slaughter, C S Fly, the Earp brothers, Doc Holliday, Sheriff Johnny Behan, Comandante Felipe Neri of the Mexican rurales, Tombstone's mayor John Clum, General Nelson Miles, and notorious outlaws like Johnny Ringo, Pony Diehl, and Pearl Hart. No liberties have been taken with established facts. This is as accurate a history as can be told through a work of fiction.
