Lu flounders in the world. Regularly beat-up for being from a Jewish family, she finally finds peace in the African American community in Kenosha, Wisconsin.. Then she finds her first HOME in the forest. Years later, Karina, a young journalist from Sweden, hears Lu's story and tracks her down in New Mexico.
