LNER Passenger Trains and Formations Volume II

This new volume continues the detailed survey of LNER passenger train operations by Steve Banks and Clive Carter, and follows on from the principal services covered in the first volume. With the plethora of locomotives and rolling stock now available, it is now practical for modellers to faithfully recreate the actual formation of the services they are replicating in miniature. This carefully researched and detailed study provides an exhaustive record of the composition of the secondary passenger trains operated by the LNER and its BR successors. It includes services throughout what became the BR Eastern and North Eastern Regions as well as part of the Scottish Region and a selection of services throughout the LNER from the Grouping and in the regions in the BR era up to the end of steam.
