Lonely Hearts (Memoirs of lust and love in cyberspace)

At fifty years old, Julie had handled most challenges that life had to offer. She raised three children while working herself up the ladder to a successful Wall Street career. She took care of her father after he suffered a massive stroke for three years until he passed away and made sure her mother was well. She was a good wife, a good mother, a good daughter and did her job well. She spent her entire life serving the needs of others. Although this was rewarding in itself, one question kept repeating itself in her mind. "Is this all there is"? There had to be more. She came to the realization that after decades of marriage, as you grow older sometimes you don't grow together, you grow apart. Intimacy had left her marriage years ago. She ached for something more. Out of curiosity, she responded to an ad on a personals site, but she wasn't quite prepared for what she found. Henry was another loner in a thirty year marriage which had grown old. He put an ad on the personals site as an experiment. Maybe he just wanted to see if he could still attract a woman, or he might have been searching for someone who understood his needs, but he was not prepared for Julie and the explosion of feelings that came with her.
