Love, Charles is a historical story, based upon the letters a son wrote to his mother once he began boot camp during World War II. Many stories have been written about the horrors of the war in the Pacific, the horrors of the concentration camps, and the battles fought against Japan and Germany, but few have shown the life people were living here on American soil during WWII.
