Growing up in the small Eastern Oregon town of Nez Perce isn’t terribly difficult. But when your passion is art and you're interested in guys, and you’re hardly confident enough to go after either, that tends to complicate things a bit.

‘Why can’t you be like everyone else?’ is a common question for teenager Gerry O’Fearna.

His hopes and dreams are muddled by teenage angst and bigotry. Is his Art the answer? Or is he merely looking for Love in all the wrong places?
