As a parent facing the empty nest much sooner than I had anticipated, I realized that I had so much more that I wanted to pour into my children's lives, but time was of the essence. There were so many things that I wanted to say and instill in them, so much that I hadn't shared. It was with that sense of urgency that I was compelled to write Love Letters To My Children. Susan was born in England and raised in Brooklyn of Barbadian parents.

Susan was one of the lead soloists of the multi-Grammy-award-winning, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. The songs she led thrust the choir into the international spotlight. Her two projects, Glorious Is Thy Name and Worthy of Worship are an inspiration to all who listen.

Susan holds degrees in Spanish Literature & Culture, Educational Technology, and Foreign Language Education.
