Love Without Boundaries

It isn't a sign of weakness or a shameful badge to stay and hold out hope for better days. I spent 10 years in a relationship with a man who was only willing to have a relationship with alcohol. I loved deep and without boundaries. I was passionate and committed to making it work. Not only did I stay with him, I defended him, I covered for him, I carried our burdens, alone. I believed that loving deep and without boundaries was essential in a marriage. My journey, while long and painful, was necessary for me to become the best version of myself. All of the episodes life had me star in during those 10 years gave me the backbone and strength to overcome, push forward, and thrive through all of life's hardships and celebrations. I hope somewhere along the way my story, my journey, my pain, can offer a beacon of light in the dark corners of others lives.
