Lykurgos

This ancient Greek text presents a speech by Lycurgus, an orator and politician who lived in Athens during the 4th century BCE. In the speech, Lycurgus defends the Athenian democracy against criticisms from Leocrates, a fellow citizen who fled the city after its defeat by Philip of Macedon.
