Mackall Blackmore Asdell Families of Indiana

Record of Mackall, Asdell, Blackmore, Kern, Hasler, and Stone families as they emigrated from their homelands in Holland, Switzerland, Scotland, England, and Ireland in the 18th & 19th centuries to begin a new life in a strange new country migrating westward into southern Indiana where their life's became intertwined in the small village of Scotland. This story exemplifies America at it's very best. Why did they come? Adventure? Persecution? Famine? Poverty? Or all of these?
