Magical Moon Lake

My journey into Nature began in wartime Hamburg as the wish of a city boy to live in the forest. Magical Moon Lake is the inspiring story of how this wish became a reality. In 1993 a peculiar dream led me to tell the amazing story of Magical Moon Lake, my home, which began with a landscape that once looked like 'the Moon'. My real life experiences show the slow process of creating a lake, the return of the forest, and my awe as the animals came back, one-by-one.The stories are entertaining, often dramatic, joyful, and sometimes sad - always surprising; they also include some practical hints and educational thoughts on nature and life to suit a wide spectrum of ages and cultures. Magical Moon Lake is a beckoning doorway to those who wish to discover our kinship with Nature, and perhaps rekindle their own dreams.
