When Jonathan first laid eyes on Vickie, they were both twelve years old. Ten years later, their worlds are still colliding like atoms in a particle accelerator, smashing accepted norms and beliefs into bits.
After first falling in love, surrounded by the fields of maize and hay that give the farmlands of Pennsylvania a fairytale beauty, they went their separate ways. Vickie left to study at the Julliard School of Music in New York City, while Jonathan chose to stay on his family's farm. Both have been living with broken hearts since their agonizing split.

And then, while Jonathan rode the horse-driven harvester through his family's lush farmlands, Vickie skyrocketed to fame as an international singing star.
