Making It Work

From September 2002, new duties were issued to all schools not to discriminate against disabled pupils: not to treat them `less favourably', and to make `reasonable adjustments'. A range of statutory guidance on disability discrimination, access and inclusion has already been issued. Making it Work provides materials to support training and implementation of these duties and includes: photocopiable and CD Rom resources checklists for school-based audits examples of making it work contacts for further help
