Mama Earth Gives Birth

Why is Mama getting so Fat In this children's book, soon to be a classic, author and social scientist Dr. Alex Ruuska has created a playful, and by turns, whimsical story about a spunky young girl who goes on a whirlwind tour around the world. Inspired by ancestral stories of the Indigenous Paiute and Shoshone of California, the Great Basin, and Colorado Plateau, this book offers every reader the chance to get to know the earth as a sentient being.
