It was only after me that I came to know all the disgraceful news about the work or life of those who worked in the tea estates. In those early days, some short stories were fictionalized. But they did not panic.

The desire to see the life of the plantation workers and to create in my writing, perhaps the joy that ignited in me that day was like a bonfire. For the past several years I have lived together in the Nilgiris environment, surrounded by forested mountains. I got used to the tea gardens and factories. Although I did not get the chance to fulfill my desire. Even after leaving the Nilgiris, I went there once and tried to find a working life.
