It began in 1956-57. A 31-year old business executive, born of Jewish parents in Brooklyn, New York, was shocked by spiritual-psychic manifestations. Invisible teachers contacted her, telling her to prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus the Christ. For 12 years she had been a confirmed atheist, believing neither in the soul nor in life after death. These spiritual and psychic manifestations occurred, therefore, without premeditation or conscious curiosity. They just happened spontaneously.
