When 52-year-old Martin moves into the five-story brick apartment building in trendy Los Feliz, his better self is long gone. He responds bitterly to the overly-pierced and oh-so-tattooed "thirtynothings" who seem to own the neighborhood. He also is still angry at Lisa, the wife he left behind in the relative maturity of their quiet Valley Village house. But soon enough: neighbor Brittany's bouncing energy proves contagious.
