Logical and play-by-the-book perfectionist Liliana Kahale has decided to finally take a risk on pursuing a Creative Writing master's degree. What she thinks will be a fun experience actually consists of failed writing assignments and her rapidly declining self-esteem.

With grades plummeting and a degree at risk, Liliana will do anything to recover her academic footing. Even if it means talking to the boy from undergrad who she swore to never forgive.

Grant McCarthy doesn't have much going on. Art classes, a millionaire father that makes up for missed birthdays with new cars... and more art classes. When the family he desperately avoids asks to see him more often, Grant hastily comes up with an excuse that won't jeopardize his allowance.
