Mathematics Recovered for the Natural and Medical Sciences

Written for students of the non-physical sciences who have been taught mathematics before, but have forgotten it, this textbook covers the mathematics thought to occur most often in typical scientific explorations, providing a route of rapid recovery. Starting at the basic principles, the development of the material is progressive and the subject matter is extended to sketch out the methods of Fourier analysis which find applications in many modern scientific developments. The students are encouraged to solve problems on the pattern of worked examples.
