Maya's Dream

Maya is an author living in the bay area who is struggling with writer's block while trying to finish a book about a man who is infatuated with a woman he has never met. And only sees her through her window across a courtyard that separates there second story apartments. Maya's frustration is compounded by her husbands lost libido, and her teenage daughter's sexual evolution. Quirky observations of human behavior, bay area culture and comical comments on life's absurdities, presented by the author, carry this book to a surprise ending.
Neddi Mitchel was born and raised in Seattle Washington. As a young woman she met Alfredo Valentino whom she would marry and move with to Los Angeles where they would raise seven children, five girls and two boys. The oldest son Miles is the author of this book.
