Meaning of this Life

Ask no longer whether life as such has any "worth", but rather seek what worth you can yourself bestow upon your life. Ask no longer whether there is any "meaning" to existence, but rather how your own existence might gain meaning through yourself. Ask no longer, "Is there an immortal soul?" but search, instead, for that in you which manifests your timeless soul, and how you might grow conscious of its presence. Ask no longer, "Does human life continue after death?" but rather seek what you can do in this your present life in order to attain self-knowing consciousness in your eternal form. Ask no longer, "What is truth?" but whether you yourself are true in mind and soul and willing not to suffer anything within yourself which might becloud that inner truth.
