Oakville elementary has their first annual poetry writing contest Mr.J, Meechie's teacher recognizes his creative writing abilities, talents, and phenomenal vocal skills. Mr. J submits his piece to a national magazine contest . Meechie goes on to represent the school and the community in the regional and national competition.
