In the heat of summer, the island country of Oloro is flourishing with wealth and African culture. There are skyscrapers made of pure gold, flying cars, and a lifestyle that reflects the diversity and heart of African people.



Eighteen-year-old Kemi Okiki faces internal battles as she tries to keep a big secret from her family.



For the first time in her life, she defies her family’s desires for her. Along the way, she meets six strangers who change the way she views life and culture forever.



But when a strange phenomenon occurs, Kemi and the people of Oloro lose a major aspect of their identity.
