Melonhead

Twleve-year-old Sidney T. Mellon yo-yos between Seattle and Los Angeles, living part of each year with each of his divorced parents. Disconnected from his parents, he gets on a bus bound for New York City, making up stories about himself whenever he meets somebody new. Each of the people Sidney encounters on his journey contributes something to his understanding of who he is and where he's going.
