Based on the life of James Annesley, notably on his claim to the Barony of Altham and Earldom of Anglesey. Sometimes attributed to James Annesley. In this edition the second line of the imprint ends "and"; the catchword on p.1 is "words"; and the headpiece on p.1 is an arabesque design with a shell center. Part the second was published in 1743 with the title: 'Memoirs of an unfortunate nobleman, in which is continued the history of Count Richard .. '; part the third was published in 1747, with the same title as the first part. With a half-title. The last seven pages contain advertisements.
