Rick Wood knows what it's like to deal with the day-to-day challenges of mental health.

Having been dealt a hand of OCD, bipolar disorder and Tourette's syndrome, he has learnt how to deal with life's difficulties.

With his first poetry book, Life in Words, Rick used prose to explore various experiences. Now he is following it up with a pivotal collection of poetry all about his battles with mental health.

Whether it be anxiety, dealing with stereotypes, or the despair of being at war with your own thoughts, he articulates each experience and emotion with raw, brutal imagery.
