Message of the Holy Qur'an

It is an obvious fact that the great merit of anything lies in its

fulfilling the purpose for which it has been made. Therefore, the

true purpose of a Heavenly Scripture is that it should save those

that follow it from a sinful life through its teaching and influence;

its power of reform and spiritual qualities. The Holy Qur'an has

all these traits, and is far exalted than all previous Holy Scriptures.

The Qur'an is a miracle of limitless insights and eternal truths

vouchsafed to our Holy Prophetsa, over fourteen hundred years

ago. Over the course of time people have come to attribute arbitrary

meanings to the Word of God to suit their own ends, resulting

in the opponents of Islam to question its authenticity and

teachings. Most of these misinterpretations have crept in because

of our failure to fully understand the message of the Qur'an.

The Promised Messiahas was commissioned not only to expound the

beauties of Islam but also to adjudicate and correct the distortions and

fabrications that had been introduced into Islam during the course of
